The Journey: Always Breaking Limitations
Motivation is the second book written by Wai Hung Ma. The book deals with topics of motivation and inspiration that are derived from Wai's life. Wai has Cerebral Palsy and lives every day to the fullest. By sharing his thoughts, Wai hopes others will be able to live their lives to the fullest as well.
This book is a collection of success concepts to help people overcome obstacles and challenges so they can enjoy living into the “WHAT IF” potential in their lives. It follows the inspirational journey of Wai Hung Ma and his incredible story of breaking limitations and living a life of purpose, meaningfulness, contribution, and optimism while attracting possibilities and tapping the potential we all have within us. Backed by scientific research along with evidence from world-class trainers Corey Sigvaldason and Kirk Baethke, this book combines an uplifting narrative with well-grounded principles that people from all circumstances can utilize to maximize their potential – and success – ultimately leading them to happier and more fulfilling lives.
We all face challenges, obstacles, and failures in life, but the choices we make and mindset we take into them is what ultimately determines our happiness and success. Concepts addressed in the book include: Acceptance, Purpose, Vision, Goals and Goal Setting, Believing, Change, Choices, Being Responsible, Grit, Challenge, Growth Mindset, and Commitment to Excellence. These concepts are explored through the research and evidence-based approach of Corey’s PhD work along with the strong narrative and inspiration from Wai and his journey. This book will not only motivate, but also give you concrete tools to move from just “managing” your life to thriving and unlocking all the potential locked inside you!
Copies of the new book are available at many fine bookstores like Chapters, Indigo, Coles, and online with Amazon in both print and Kindle versions with an audiobook planned for later in the yar as well. Here is the link to purchase the book on Amazon:
Wai has succeeded in producing his own unique and thought provoking study of what makes Wai run! It is facing up to the challenges of life and choosing to master them rather than to let them beat you down. The simple language in which he states this conviction is its own eloquence.
From a profound depression in which he felt helpless to defeat the twin scourges of multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy he has developed a positive philosophy by which he has changed from being helpless to getting more from life. It becomes a matter of risk: “…as you take more risk, you will fail from time to time, but your failures will lead to success, and you will live life fully.”
Do not be deceived by the repetitious elements in this little booklet. Wai has omitted most of his failures and concentrated on his successes. His infectious enthusiasm for whatever he is doing is contagious. He has tried the music video game, the promotional game and even tried to become a painter. He has never suffered from a lack of projects, or “ideas” as he calls them and has fallen victim to more than one promotion in his struggle for recognition, but every time that he picks himself up, he becomes shrewder and wiser. As he says: “You have the power to choose the kind of energy that you wish to attract into your life. Positive energy is the result of positive thoughts .You have the power to choose.”

Developed for schools, youth clubs and community groups, Wai Hung Ma’sHow to Become a Better Bully DVD being launched today explores the issue of bullying – a serious issue that affects one in five Canadian children.
Calling upon his personal experiences with bullying, Wai Hung geared How to Become a Better Bully towards youth in Grades 6 through 10 and speaks to both the bully and the bullying victim. Delivered in simple language, in an entertaining and engaging manner, the 20-minute audio/visual DVD turns the spotlight onto bullying and harassment in its many different shapes and forms.
By opening up the lines of honest discussion on the causes and effects of bullying, and by encouraging the bully to become a better person by shifting his/her energies into improving oneself (hence the DVD’s title) Wai Hung is confident his work will bring about a level of awareness that will encourage youth to make better choices in their daily lives and prompt them to become ambassadors for change in their schools and communities.
